Consultation Period Ends

Councillor Phil Bateman said "The consultation period for the Linthouse Lane safety proposals have been distributed to residents the length of Linthouse Lane and the period closed yesterday, for those with comments to make about the scheme.
I am hopeful that the proposals will have found favour with the majority of residents and of course the motorists that use the Lane.

They also have had an opportunity to voice their opinions about the project, as the City Council deserve some praise for the clarity in which they have been communicating with all those that feel that they have a view.

The large road side signs the door to door leaflets the articles in the local newspapers and the controversial bits aired on Radio WM Adrian Goldberg Show has all done their bit to raise the level of awareness, as has this web site! Now I am looking forward to hearing from the City Council what the result of the consultation was, and when we can see some physical work taking place!

I will keep you all informed."
