Monday Blog..

Monday Blog...the week end came and went in a blur as there was so many things to do,Saturday morning up early opened the post answered some letters, arranged the website and then off to Lea Hall in Birmingham where we had at TWM an 'open day' of the garage.
Some really good events that held the publics interest were taking place all staffed and supported by the Lea Hall garage team.

Just after lunch returned home and devoted the rest of the day to City Council issues, and being nice to visitors! On Sunday up early
for a quick tour of the Ward, and a visit to the 'family history fair& genealogy exhibition' taking place at the Dunstall Park Race Track, Wolverhampton City Council family history unit was exhibiting. This proved a very popular event, in the afternoon we joined with the Mayor and Mayoress with the Bishop & Judges for a service to celebrate the Administration of Justice in the city of Wolverhampton.

The Leading Judge in the City Sir John Goldring President of the Judges Midland Circuit was present as was Judges from the Circuit and District. It was a very first for Wolverhampton and it was nice that Myself and Mary were part of history in the making.

This event was down to the High Sheriff of the West Midlands County Mr John Andrews, a Wolverhampton man that has done a lot for Wolverhampton whilst he has held this very ancient and historic position. Well done John Andrews for promoting the City of Wolverhampton.
