Blogging on about Ashmore Nursery!

Phil Bateman said "Yesterday I popped into Ashmore Park Nursery School where I am Chair of Governors. I enjoy going to the school, but this time it was to see Headteacher Angela Giles concerning some paper work and an extra ordinary Governors meeting.

It is a super little school ......and that certainly describes Chris & Angela's office that they share with a zillion books. Talk about a broom cupboard! They couldn't fit me in with them...and not because I have put on any more weight, but because it is so tiny you can't swing a cat!"

It must be against some working directive to have to work sorry..co habit.. in that ridiculous space. I am just hoping that Education will send an Inspector down and have a look at what we expect from our teaching and admin staff? I think that you can tell I am the new Chair of Governors!

Its right that children have resources spent on them , but we also must have the right facility for the staff on the job, I am going to go in and photo this space over the next few weeks...just watch this page. I feel the need to have a building project take place here so that Secretary and Headteacher can work in comfort not sitting on each others lap!
