Friday Blog

Friday blog well its the end of a long hard week that has seen me involved in lot of meetings not just public meetings but work as well. I can honestly say that I am relieved that it is the weekend.
Yesterday was quite tough I attended the Wednesfield Traders Association meeting held at the Pyle Cock Inn. It was a well attended meeting and you can read about one of the major issues that came out of the meeting elsewhere on the site.

I stayed after the meeting because I was late for the early part just to have a chat with one or two people.

There is a lot of unrest and some traders talked to me about the loss of unto 40% of their trade! I think that is quite a lot of lost trade and I am not sure that all that could be laid down as the design of Wednesfield. More likely that is about the competition of Makro.

Any way it was late when I arrived home and I did not get to the telephone to answer all the messages that have been left. I do have a backlog of calls to make and I hope to touch base with people over the week end. This is not going to be an easy picnic either with a visit to the Arena Theatre to watch Fame on Saturday night and Civic Sunday at St Bart's in Penn early Sunday morning, life is going to be hectic over the week-end.
