I think that the pattern of anti social behaviour on Ashmore Park is quite disturbing. I am informed that there has been vandalism at Oakmeadow School with windows broken, Danesmore Park where a break in happened, even down at Ashmore Park Nursery there has been some petty vandalism.
I do hope that the police will be helped by the community to stop these silly acts. There must be people who know what is taking place, even last night I had to shout at a gang of 7 youths who were breaking down a fence that surrounds a small building site on Broad Lane North. The kids were between 11 and 15 and I got what I expected animal noises when I bellowed at them to stop. Luckily they wandered away towards the Spread Eagle Public House.

Its this petty damage and bad attitude which is so frustrating for everyone who just wants to see property damage and bad behaviour banished.

Turning to other issues that people tell me about. There is some evidence that the Royal Mail service in the Ward is not what it used to be. The Secretary of APRA was telling me that there are a lot of people who are having their Mail delayed for days at a time. The Ashmore Park Nursery tell me that their mail has been going to St Albans School and vice a versa. I do hope that Royal Mail will look to correct this service. There is a lot of disgruntled customers who are starting to get aggrieved.
