Tuesday Blog

Monday is always a difficult day! Not only a full day at work, but also a visit to the Labour Group meeting . As usual there was a lot of discussion about various items including the Local Government Pension Fund and the City Councils Revenue Budget.
Just before that took place the Fire Officer addressed the Group about West Midlands Fire Service cover.

A number of local issues are still being raised with me including the fact that there is some kids still willing to risk their own skins by clambering on the roof at Danesmore Park School. Residents are being requested to keep an eye open for them and report them to the police if they see anything taking place.

There was a fight again at the Spread Eagle on Saturday night, fortunately for me, Mary and I had left the pub when it all kicked off!

We are both to attend the Civic Service on Sunday 6th February 2005 at St Bartholomew's Church, Church Hill Penn as Deputy Mayor and Deputy Mayor's. We are to be robed and join a procession which will then enter the Church.

On Wednesday I shall be attending Ashmore Park Nursery School Governors, it is a well run Nursery that has provided early years education on the estate for a very long time.
