ASBO Warning About Stone Throwing!

The constant stone throwing and other incidents befalling residents in Bucknall Road Ashmore Park have been reported to the police.

Some residents are becoming very concerned about the situation. Wednesfield Police have now informed me that The beat officers for the area have devoted as much time as possible patrolling the area. Youths have been identified as being a nuisance and have been sent ASBO letters warning them of their behaviour and the possibility of being subject
to ASBO procedures if their actions carry on. Incident diaries have also been issued to residents. Councillor Phil Bateman said today " I think that all that these residents want is some peace and quiet. They want to just get on with their lives without being in fear of being injured or their property being damaged. This issue is not a prank it is a very serious crime and I would appeal to those youngsters who have been guilty of this harassment to pack it in. Leave the crime alone and get on with growing up. The Police are taking action and the monitoring of the area has been made part of the sectors tasking."
