Pushing the Mayor!

Well if ever there was a need for a new car for the Mayor then I think that we have the evidence. “What do you mean I here you cry?”

Well one day last week on the Wolverhampton Ring Road this old, very old Mayoral limousine was making its way in the tired way it travels towards Snow Hill in Wolverhampton.

My friend who happened to be flying past with his pupil couldn’t believe his eyes when into sight came our stately limo being gently pushed by Jon the chauffeur with Mayor ensconced inside!

Now with out doubt and no matter how regal in stature you are.... it is a little bit much to expect anything more than the sniggers and guffaws that obviously were made by passing motorist's!

Even my good friend , and a Baggies fan to boot, tells me he sneaked a look into the car hoping to see me, red faced and embarrassed, cowering on the floor!

The time is ripe fellow Councillors to put the Limousine on sale on e-bay or gently retire the ancient beast to a museum! There is only so much you can expect the Mayoral staff to undertake, and acting like a circus strong man is not what the chauffeur Jon is built for!
