Jazz Ramblers Launch Coventry Bus Services

It was an interesting day for me today in my role as Corporate Affairs Director for Travel Coventry. I assisted in our launch of a new bendi bus service from Wood-end in Coventry through to Willenhall in Coventry yesterday.
It was a lovely day and with the Jazz Ramblers performing I always knew that the launch would be succesful as it would turn Coventrians heads! True to form it did that!. Even the smallest shopping centres provided members of the public who driven by curiosity came to have a look at the foot stomping music, and the very glitzy bendi bus.
With 10 more buses being added to the Coventry bendi-bus fleet, this City probably has the largest articulated bus fleet outside of London some 20 in number now. The buses in their own 'Jazzy' Sky blue and white livery looked a picture.

The public certainly liked the balloons and the way that Jazz Ramblers kicked up the tunes and a good day was had by everyone!
Our rolling bendi bus launch will be well remembered and will be used again in the battle to catch potential passengers attention to the benefits of quick and frequent services. Those new bendi buses certainly have a huge capacity and will be welcomed by young mothers with buggies and senior citizens with accessibily problems."
