Bikes Are A Hazard

At a recent police consultative Committee some residents complained about people riding bikes on the shopping parade which was deemed a hazard to pedestrians.

Councilllor Phil Bateman reports that he has "raised this matter with the City Council who through the Housing department own the shopping parade. There view is that the police should be informed. They intend to raise the matter with the local police. In the meantime I would like to ask people to consider others and not ride on the parade. but to walk with their bikes."
