Bucknall Road No Light, No Collection!

Some residents in Bucknall Road Ashmore Park are upset that the Re-Cycle team are not collecting their paper and green vegetation, despite placing the receptacles out. They complain that the operatives are going only half way down the Road.

Councillor Phil Bateman said "I received an e-mail today from one of the residents;It said that ' Is it possible that you could pass on a message for the residents of Bucknall Road .Our road is a full length road it doesn’t
finish two houses down. We have watched them miss our boxes twice that means we have been without the service for one month. Twice they do not come to the bottom and don’t take the paper even though we get up early to put it out for them. As you know it is not safe for us to put our bins out the night before the collection is due.'

I am contacting the City Managers today and will ask them to ensure collection takes place.

It has also been suggested that the street lamp also has not been replaced. Again I will contact the appropriate department and ask City officials to investigate.”
