Weblog;Sunday

This weblog is taking place after a rather delightful Sunday just doing really nothing! Well that is strictly not true, but with no official Deputy Mayor engagements I took the time to weed and scratch around the garden and read the Sunday papers without any interruptions. It was indeed lovely.

Sheltered Housing Development

At around Noon I had a tour of the patch. Noticed that there was a lot of litter up Griffith Drive and Lint house Lane, I shall drop the City Council a note... took a look at the new Sheltered accommodation being constructed in Mathouse Lane.

This is really coming along and you can see the size of the place now it is really quite large. Received a complaint from residents who recognised me lurking about, then asked me about a lorry parking there at week ends. Then I had a look at the new part of the Ward. All seemed in order nothing out of place.

In the afternoon more gardening a little nap and lots of family visitors. All in all a nice quiet day and very enjoyable.
