Demolition Set To Take Place

Following complaints from residents about the Sandy Crescent Garage site on Ashmore Park, Wolverhampton City Council have again informed me that action will be taken on the site.

Councillor Phil Bateman said " This is the information that has been fed through to me about the site, the housing department they have informed me that following my recent enquiry and following inspections now undertaken, they confirm proposals for this garage site to be demolished have been made.
They have also stated that most garages on the site are now considered to be beyond economic repair. In the interim period,before demolition unsecured vacant garages will be secured and rubbish removed from the site.

The department will arrange for any current tenants to be contacted and they will of course be offered an alternative garage as and when vacancies become available on other sites. They have also agreed to keep me informed on any further developments on this site."
