Broad Lane North Residents Comment

Broad Lane North local safety scheme is drawing some comments following the publication of the City Councils intentions to consult with residents about the type of scheme that they would like to see constructed.

Councillor Phil Bateman said today “Residents who have contacted me suggest that perhaps two mini Islands placed at corner of Broad lane North and Len Davies and Broad Lane North/ Peach Road would be enough to break the flow. Others have just commented no speed humps!

There is a local debate springing up which is good, and will allow the highway engineers to better understand the views of local people as they move towards starting this consultation.”
