OST quells Crime On Buses

These type of operations take place with the Police right across the West Midlands including Wolverhampton. The last Joint Operation took place with Kings Norton Police on the 19-05-2004
The latest "Gateway Check", as part of Operation Safer Travel, took place on 13th May in the Watford Road area of Cotteridge, Birmingham. The operation took place between 14.00 and 17.00.

Don Perkins, Senior Revenue Inspector spoke to OST on-line this morning about the operation. He said, "Our team of Revenue Inspectors managed to check 75 bus services during the busy operation. West Midlands Police did not make any arrests but we were pleased to be back in the Kings Norton area for this operation. We have stepped up a gear as we prepare for the summer months."
