Reducing Crime On Public Transport Conference - London

Yesterday, 29th April 2004, conferance producers, Neil Stewart Associates hosted a day long conferance at the Barbican Centre, London.

Both Stuart Henry and Pihl Bateman from Travel West Midlands attended along with WPC Shepherd and Chris Fellows from West MIdlands Police. Phil Bateman was one of six main speakers at the conferance and called us this morning to tell us how it went. Phil covered Operation Safer Travel as the main focus of his presentation.

He said, "I was obviously very pleased to be asked to give a presentation to the conferance. It was well attended and I am always happy to update and inform people about how Operation Safer Travel does things here in the West Midlands. Transport Minister, Tony McNulty also attended the conferance and I was pleased to be there to hear him speak."
