Councillor Phil Bateman said " I am more than impressed in both the vision and the proposals for developing the City. The document is exciting and it gives a very clear view of the direction that the City is starting to aim itself under Labour. Of course the evidence that we are changing comes with the announcement yesterday of the new City Centre development to be built by Dutch developer AM and costing in excess of £200m. These have been impressive years under the Labour Party leadership these new devlopment proposals really do show the ambition we have for this City we live in."
