Bucknall Road Garage Site

City Council officials are regularly investigating issues surrounding the dumping of rubbish. This time officials have been checking rubbish for clues in Bucknall Road Garage site.

Councillor Phil Bateman said “Security gates were fitted at this location as part of the 2002-2003 minor works programme and are always secure. There is a landscaped area at the rear of the site forming a boundary with the bungalows in St Albans Close.
This area has been prone to being dumped on which has sadly not diminished since the installation of the gates. Officials inform me that they have arranged for the site to be cleaned yet again and no fly-tipping signs installed. City Council officials are checking rubbish for clues as to who may have dumped the garbage. They have also written to me previously, both the
litter enforcement officer and the housing department who are both very keen to see the individuals who carry out this anti-social behaviour prosecuted so will continue to seek evidence to commence proceedings
