Congratulations Coppice High

I took a telephone call late this afternoon from The Mayor of Wolverhampton, Councillor John Rowley. He spoke to me about the tremendous success of Coppice High School which had just taken a major prize by winning the West Midlands Magistrates Annual Court mock trial competition.
The Mayor explained that he had phoned me after handing out the prizes. Clearly the local students at Coppice High based in Wednesfield North have much to cheer tonight, this fine win over Queen Mary Grammar School in Walsall and Wolverhampton Girls High School is very worthy of a night of celebration!

I would therefore like to add my congratulations to the school and the staff who have prepared so well for this prestigious competition....well done and good luck in the next leg which will take place in Wolverhampton in June .
