Another Window Broken

Danesmore Park School reported yet another window broken at the end of last week.

The school is obviously a target for some unwanted attention. School Governors are working hard with the Acting Headteacher to deal with this problem of vandalism.

Councillor Phil Bateman said "they did have another window smashed last week. More anti climb paint has been put onto the roof and further bushes have been trimmed.

The school is trying another initiative that may help during the week nights. They are
trying to run a number of after school class including an art class and
possibly additional maths classes for the gifted children. Danesmore Park have also
had a request from a girls football team to use the playing field after school. All these are initiatives that will do much to boost the physical presence of people on the school grounds.

Again I would make an appeal for the community to phone the police if they see any matter that looks suspicious."
