Weblog Diary- A Ttypical Week
• 1st March well the weblog for the week started like this; Former Cllr Gordon Jones was buried today. I did want to attend but in the end did not quite make it. By all the accounts there was a good turn-out for his funeral, thoughts are with the family on occasions like these.
• 2nd March a torrid day at the office and a night on the computer, heard about the death of Cllr Geoff Patten from the Express and Star. Spent the evening over the Spread Eagle bit of relaxation watching the Albion gain a point at Norwich, and having banter with the locals.
• 3rd March started with a morning at work, then off to the City Council for Full Council which set the rate at 3.7%. One of the lowest increases in Counciltax for a decade. Heard Cllr Bourne giving a ranting and raving speech….not a pretty sight. hair over his eyes arms waving …reminded me of some one historic?
• 4th March After a day at the office some constituency work, set the days agenda on the web site.
• 5th March had a lot of calls about local issues. Radio interviews etc
• 6th Really good day some calls about people’s problems, match…great win against Coventry. Feet up on the night.
• 7th Sunday out delivering leaflets with our team, enjoyed the walk still hoping to lose a pound or two. Been up and down most parts of the Ward now in the last two weeks. Gwen took my surgery so all our team are working well……
