Third Party Insurance Claims are an important issue in any business that trades supporting or working with the public. The City Council is no different. Listed below are the services with claims standing against them.

Councillor Phil Bateman said "This information was culled from an internal briefing document. What it requires is the figures to go with it that explains whether or not these figures are increasing or decreasing and what sort of financial costs are attributed to the claims. I shall be writing to the Director of Finance to ask him to provide the relevant figures for the last four years to see if there is a growth/reduction in claims made over that period. Also what financial comparison there are."
