Survey for City Council Staff

Wolverhampton City Council is to survey all its employees for the first time, the City Council is joining many private companies in wanting to find out what their employees are saying.

Councillor Phil Bateman says " There will be a lot of negative publicity generated by this move. But if there are areas of the Authority that are negative both in the delivery of service to customers, and areviewed in a negative way by employees. Then something will have to be done about it.

I support the survey because it will bring to the surface problems that exist and it should help refine management actions to deal with the situation.

The survey when it is completed and analysed will be fed back to the staff through bulletins and notice boards and briefing sessions."
