The dumping of rubbish and the continued abuse of a recreation site by some people is to be condemned. Councillor Phil Bateman said " this abuse of this important recreation site is constant and really needs tackling. I would support court action being taken by the Authorities if we could trace the dumpers. If there is anyone that has information they should contact the Authorities.

There is a continuing and constant pile of rubbish being dumped on the conservation area on Kitchen Lane. This time there is a growing mound of rubbish behind the block of flats located alongside the True Briton PH in Snape Road.

Constituents complain to me about the way it looks, the danger it is as a playground for children, who put their selves at risk from broken bottles etc.

I am keen that it is removed as soon as possible and that regular clean ups take place so that rubbish like this is not allowed to accumulate and attract more dumping."
