Housing Investment in Wednesfield North is being delivered at pace
During the course of this current year 2003/4 the following streets are included in a central heating and insulation programme.

Councillor Phil Bateman said “I am pleased that the central heating and insulation programme is now running close to completion.
The following streets are included in this programme;Thornley Road Millbank Street Simmons Road Cleveland Close Hill Place Wolmer Road Drummond Close Rogers Close Barnard Road Ferguson Street Snape Road Part of Griffith Drive part only [Thornley Road and Snape Road on odds side and from the Church to Ashmore Avenue on evens side Higgs Road Acorn Road Coppice Close Fane Road Perks Road

All the properties in these streets are expected to be completed by April/May 2004.

With regard to PVCu Window Replacement the North East Housing Committee has recently discussed and put forward its recommendation for amendments to the 2003/4 programme and for the remaining 4 years of the PCVu window programme[to 2007/8]. This matter is the subject of a report to the next meeting of Social Care, Housing& Health Cabinet Team on 13th November 2003.

I will of course keep you updated on the way that this huge housing investment programme continues to be delivered to my constituents in Wednesfield North.”
