''''''''At Risk'''''''' Gas Mains Replaced.

Wolverhampton City Council are warning residents that there is to be some disruption of local roads in Wednesfield North as Transco replaces ''''at risk'''' mains.

The following road and streets will see engineers working from June 05 right through until August 05.
Fitzmaurice Road, Gadsby Ave,Gilbert Close, Hodson Close, Meon way, and Peacock Avenue.

Also Townson Road and Whiston Avenue will see work taking place.

Work planned to start in July/August will see Mercer grove Rocester Ave,Shardlow Road,Sheila Ave,Springhill Road Sudbury Close, Whitehouse Avenue, and Wyvern close receiving new mains.

Councillor Phil Bateman said " There will obviously be some problems in these areas . But the mains are being classed as ''''at risk'''' and I think that everyone would want to have safe services.
