James Foley- Condolences to Family.

I have refrained from making comments on the site regarding the recent events in Syria & Iraq until now.

But I do want to post my condolences to the family of American journalist Mr James Foley, who was beheaded by what looks like a British jihadist.

I also want to make a plea through these pages to our Government.

Local Authorities are trying to run 'Prevent' programmes currently. It is increasingly hard to do so, when the Government itself is cutting resources to Local Government.

Its clear that we have to do much more than we are here in the UK to deal effectively with this re-occurring terrorist threats
