Bentley Bridge Trading Up This Christmas!

Christmas Footfall Up by 8% in Bentley Bridge Shopping Park!
Wednesfield is very much part of Wolverhampton and there is a lot of concerns about the Local Economy in the City. Well here is a little bit of good news for our City as a whole and Wednesfield in particular.
Shoppers at Bentley Bridge Shopping Park continues to strengthen.
As the Shopping Park enters the Christmas period footfall is up 8% compared to this time last year, and up 2% compared to the national benchmark. In the week commencing 18 November 2013 there were 33,000 visitors to the Park compared to 30,000 a year ago.
I know the owners of this private sector enterprise are very pleased that the long-awaited public art is about to be installed at the Wednesfield Village Centre end of the mall.
My view is that the increased activity at the Shopping Park feeds through people to the High Street in the Village. That will mean stronger trade and better opportunities all round.
