Loose Ends To Be Tidied
I am still receiving very nice phone calls and letters sympathising over the election results.
It is very nice to know that there are people in the City who know how hard we worked for the community, it goes without saying that I have enjoyed representing this community. But life has to go on and they say that change is good.
I have still one or two loose ends to tie up and there are issues that need to be brought to a proper end. I hope over the next few days to undertake them.
With my new found freedom, I had a walk down the canal again this morning. It is so well used now the weather has warmed up, It is a great asset to our community and I intend to keep a watchful eye over its development. I have not given up hope of the facility gaining Nature Reserve status.
