Sale of Alcohol Refused

Following information that I have received regarding the purchase of alcohol by underage children.

I passed the information onto both the Police and Trading Standards. One of the outlets was a shop in Walsall and the City Council Trading Standards department has referred that shop to Walsall MBC for investigation.

The other outlet was on Ashmore Park and a test trade was carried out in March and the sale was refused. Whilst this particular sale was refused there is evidence that continues to suggest that alcohol is being purchased and consumed by under age drinkers locally. I will continue to keep you informed.
