City Labour Group Hits Wednesfield North

Tonight in Wednesfield North more than 30 Labour Councillors descended upon the Ward, and in just over two hours more than 4,000
leaflets were delivered!
Councillor Phil Bateman said " This was a great start to the campaign to win Wednesfield North for Labour. The weather was cold and the wind was biting
but the City Councillors, some here for their very first time, were like an army of marching soldiers! They were magnificent and I want to thank them for arranging to
be part of Wednesfield North Labour Party and its 2008 City Council election campaign.

It was not only the Group members that turned up Councillor Roger Lawrence Deputy Peter Bilson, and Group Secretary Andrew Johnson were all part of the team
that swept along our roads in true precision!

Coming so soon after Minister for Local Government and Communities Iain Williams MP , who also visited Ashmore Park .We are certainly attracting a lot of local attention!"
