Formal Consultation Results

A paper on the outcome of the formal consultation on proposals for the development of primary education in Ashmore Park has been presented to Wolverhampton City Cabinet.

Amongst the recommendations put before Cabinet was the decision to confirm support for the proposal to merge Danesmore Park and Oak Meadow with effect from September 1st of this year.

This proposal has now been forwarded to the schools adjudicator.

Discussions with the Governing Body of Oak Meadow School and other stake holders regarding the strategic options open to them, to enable the merged school to operate from a single site, in the future are now taking place.
