Night Time Scramble Reported

I have been receiving reports of a scrambler bike being used along the canal tow-path at night in the vicinity of Devil's Elbow Bridge.

Councillor Phil Bateman said "Residents inform me that this is quite a dangerous practice, and I agree with them!

Not only if they do surprise a resident walking along the footway, but also with regard to their own personal safety. Last night at about 19.40 I spotted two youths actually pushing their 'scrambler' out of Whitehouse Avenue. It was a big bike and it was green in colour. I shall be contacting Wednesfield Police to inform them of this concern."
