Mayors Charities Cash In!

Councillor Phil Bateman MBE said today "I can now confirm that my charity cheque presentation will take place on Thursday 7 September in the Mayoral Suite, Third Floor, Civic Centre, Wolverhampton."

The event will take place at 14.00 tea, coffee and biscuits will be served following the presentation. It will be the final act of what was a really stunning Mayoral Year for Mary and I. We thoroughly enjoyed our year of office, and our charities have been rewarded by the tremendous generosity of Wulfrunians.The Charities have been invited to bring along any other relevant representatives from their charity or trust to witness the cheque handovers.

I would very much like media and journalists who have done so much to produce a stunning year of quality photographs and coverage for our City to join with us for just one final event...this one!

Hopefully they will turn up to record the hand-over of cheques which in total is a shade under £30,000 to my three chosen charities.
