August Kind of Quiet!

In these 'dog days' of August the City Council kind of goes to sleep and renews itself! There are no Council Meetings and City Councillors are urged to take their holidays during this period. So with no meetings there is little paper work dropping through Councillors letter boxes.

Councillor Phil Bateman said " in line with tradition there is no Surgery for Councillors during this month,

The next Surgery we are to hold is at Long Knowle Library on September 18th and will run between 10.30 and 11.30 this is a Saturday Surgery. This is a new Surgery point for Councillor Dave Jones and myself. We are trying this venue out as we attempt and encourage the 'new' part of Wednesfield North Ward , Orchard Road, Prestwood Road West, Wood End Road, Bellamy Lane residents to come along and tell us of their requirements.

Following that we have a Surgery at Ashmore Park Tenants Room On Sunday 19th September 11.00am through to Midday, then again at the Ashmore Park Library on Friday September 24th 6.00pm through to 7.00pm. "
