New Gas Mains for Ashmore Park

Transco are set to move onto the giant Ashmore Park Housing Estate and the work programme is scheduled for six months.

Councillor Phil Bateman said today " The information I have received informs me that the work is due to start in mid July and will continue for 6 months. Transco and its contractors will be informing frontagers of the situation and I have been assured will undertake any liaison issues which may occur.

The Council have nominated a Mr Green 01902 555712 to answer individual points. So I would urge constituents to contact him if you require more information.

The work is required to replace old gas mains which currently indicate a potential risk and is part of a nationwide replacement programme being undertaken by the company."
