Name Plates Movement

Conditions of the name plates on streets in Wednesfield North have now been audited following a campaign by Councillor Phil Bateman.

Phil said " I am pleased that the audit has now been carried out, and I understand from the City Council that a number of name plates have now been ordered. Others are to be refurbished as part of this years programme. Bob Barratt Head of Transportation Network Management has warned me that the signs are ordered from an ourtside supplier, and there may be a little delay before improvements are noted!

I think that I am already saying hoorah for Bob Barratt for acting so swiftly to my request. I am sure the new street and road signs will make a real difference to delivery persons and friends and relatives making visits to Wednesfield North as well as improving the environmental appearance of the area."
